Glab is planning on attending the SIGCES conference in 2025. We have authored a poster paper that will be presented at the conference. Our paper is focused on the current issue of the existing computer system emulation platforms and our solution to a more modern and extensible platform on resolving these issues. Enabling automatic tracing of sunspots and pores during solar rotation while providing accurate measurements of the size and centroid of each sunspot group. This valuable data will enable researchers to gain a better understanding of the temporal evolution of active solar features.
Guide a research group of 8 people and contribute to the NetBSD Source and customized Kernel Porting from Luna68k with Dr. Goodney. The previous solar activity cycle, Cycle 24, was weaker than Cycles 21, 22, or 23. Because of this weakness in the level of solar activity during Cycle 24, we were interested in learning whether the seismic properties of the solar atmosphere at that time were different from those in Cycle 23.
